Pastoral Care – Parents & Gaurdians

The School will support parents/guardians by communicating to them about their child’s progress and development. We will also assist parents/guardians by informing them of how best they can help their child academically.

If parents/guardians are experiencing family problems the school can offer support through assisting the children come to terms with those difficulties. The HSCL is also available to visit homes and provide access to support structures or links other external agencies.

If necessary the school will ask the NEPS psychologist to speak to parents/guardians who seek assistance. Parental Education on a variety of topics is organised by the school HSCL and the Parents’ Association. The School Chaplain and School Guidance Counsellor provide confidential counselling, advice or a listening ear to parents/guardians.
