As a school we are very much aware of the important role parents/guardians have as their child’s primary educator and we endeavour to provide as much support and advice as possible to all our parents/guardians.
The need for a structured and positive relationship between parents, students and the school is essential in helping our students reach their full potential.
Parental involvement in Coláiste Iósaef can encompass all aspects of school life from formal structures like the Board of Management, the Parents Association, Policy Review Committees and through to more hands on voluntary roles within the school day. Our school could not operate fully without the support and involvement of its parent body. All parental involvement in school life is undertaken in the full understanding of the professional role of the teacher in the classroom and the formal education of the child.
Child Safeguarding Statement
The safety of all students in our care is paramount and the school does its best to ensure its compliance with the Child Protection Procedures for Post Primary Schools. Click to view our Safeguarding Statement.
